Just over three years ago, Access Games developed and Ignition Entertainment released (in NA) a $20 game exclusively for the Xbox 360 called Deadly Premonition. Some loved it, some hated it, most never heard of it. I was one of those that loved it. Now, Rising Star Games just released the Director's Cut version for the PS3, featuring a significant amount of tweaks, enhancements, and even new content. If you missed it the first time around, don't make the same mistake again.

Darksiders II
Hot
Darksiders II thoroughly impressed me just three months ago when I reviewed it for the PS3, but playing it again on the Wii U has been even more enjoyable thanks to smart Gamepad integration.

Darksiders II
Hot
Darksiders II is a true sequel. It continues the story of the original, refines many of its gameplay elements, adds new ones, and offers a significantly different experience to clearly distinguish itself. It's another excellent game by Vigil that shouldn't be missed.

Prototype 2

Radical's sequel to their 2009 sandbox romp is an improvement, but it's still very repetitive and difficult to become invested in.

I cursed my way through Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox years ago, but it was a labor of love. I never played NG: Black, and while I purchased NG: Sigma when it was released, I have yet to complete it. Now, Tecmo/KOEI has released Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (NGSP) exclusively for the Vita. It includes some Vita-exclusive controls as well as the Hero Mode and Ninja Trials, making this the most complete version of the classic to date.

The Cursed Crusade (TCC) could have really benefited from a few more months in development for bug-squashing and general polishing, but despite a variety of flaws, it's still enjoyable and entertaining.

Dark Souls

Never before has a game been so difficult and frustrating, yet so damn rewarding, too. Well, at least not since Demon's Souls.
