As a newcomer to the Deception franchise, the premise intrigued me, but the execution leaves something to be desired.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is the latest entry into the famed series, and while it shares some gameplay elements and themes we've come to expect, it takes some bold steps to blazing its own path. While not a total success, I did enjoy Yaiba more so than NG3, although not by much. Let's take a closer look.

The Lords of Shadow saga ends on a high note, but the experience of the final chapter is tempered by some questionable design choices, although none of which should keep you from playing.

Left Behind is a single player DLC for The Last Of Us whose content is more of the extended and deleted scene variety than the sequel or gameplay changing kind. Of course, there's not a thing wrong with that...

Rocksteady's Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are two very highly regarded games, each selling well enough to garner Game of the Year Editions and numerous awards. For Batman's third Arkham title, Arkham Origins, WB Montreal took the reigns. Whether working on a shortened development cycle or just making sure they don't rock the boat too much, Arkham Origins doesn't reinvent the franchise, thankfully, but it does maintain a near AAA quality production level.

It's a big month for Star Trek, with the release of TNG S03 on Blu-ray, the new JJ Abram's film in theaters, and a videogame. I can tell you the TNG Blu-ray is amazing; I haven't seen the new movie yet obviously, but I bet it's a better value than the new game.

Is Rebellion's return trip to the good old gaming days of World War 2 shooters and occult-powered Nazi enemies, painted with a modern coat of glossy graphics and third-person gameplay, a nostalgia-filled trip of fun and adventure or does it, like a poorly-sighted sniper, miss its mark?
