Donkey Kong barrels his way onto the 3DS for a remake of the Wii classic. Does it hold up to the same level of greatness as its predecessor?

You just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

The sequel to one of the best games made in the last five years that doesn't start with Mario, Halo, Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed has finally arrived on the PC. Springing with creativity, fun and the possibility of a warped sense of humor, there's a lot to love when it comes to Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and 5th Cell's Scribblenauts Unlimited. Let's get into it, shall we?

Children are often garbage disposals of interactive entertainment; give them any game and they will devour it. This doesn't, however, imply that they will fail to notice when they've been given actual garbage as opposed thoughtful, creative games. In this regard Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive! is unabashedly intended for younger gamers and founded on an admirable premise, but ultimately spoils well before its implied expiration date.

While discussing N.E.R.D.'s third album, Seeing Sounds, Pharrell Williams seemed surprised when he learned not everyone experienced synesthesia. Blending senses and seeing colors instead of sounds came natural him, and I'm willing to bet the same line of thought applies to Queasy Games and their short list of collaborators for Sound Shapes. Sound Shapes (as well as Queasy Games’ 2007 title Everyday Shooter) maintains this seemingly effortless dedication to intoxicating the player's senses through sight and sound. Call it distilled bliss or displaced affection, but there's an explicit sense of euphoria waiting to be collected through Sound Shapes' rich presentation. Not coincidentally, like Everyday Shooter, there's also a pretty good game here too.
