Game Genre: Action

BBC Worldwide has partnered with developer Supermassive Games to bring you a Doctor Who game called Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock.  They might have malfunctioned their TARDIS a bit when putting it together.

DISCLAIMER: Before this review begins, I would like to admit upfront that this site has never reviewed a The Witcher title prior to this one. We certainly would have reviewed the original, but never got a chance to do so. With that being said, we have no experience with the series, so this title is being reviewed with fresh eyes. Alright, with the formalities out of the way, let's talk The Witcher 2.

Over the decades (and I do mean decades) there have been a plethora of flight simulators that always guarantee a 'true life' experience. Microsoft has their Flight Simulator series, which includes a WWII sim, the IL-2 Sturmovik series, and now we have Birds of Steel from Konami and developer Gaijin Entertianment. While the Microsoft series and the IL-2 series certainly earned its wings, could Birds of Steel follow the same path? Let's find out.

The last few Resident Evil games have been merely appetizers for the upcoming Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City isn't any different.

"Scientist revenge" is quickly becoming a sub-genre for sharp puzzle/action games. 'Splosion Man, its sequel Ms Splosion Man, and both Portals have specialized in enabling the protagonist to enact comic vengeance upon his or her immoral captors. Warp, the first game from the folks at Trapdoor, cooks a similar dish but mistakenly spices it with superfluous carnage and clumsy gameplay.

Years later, a step in the right direction.

Lead an army of goblins against monsters in Hell as you attempt to re-claim the desolate underworld for yourself. Other than the grinding repetition that develops after a few short hours, Army Corps of Hell does a lot right, but is it enough?

Shank 2 embodies both the verb and the noun.

Welcome young padawan to a new MMORPG in the Star Wars universe. The Old Republic from Bioware and EA challenges you to seek out your destiny as one of a myriad of characters. On the level of a WoW or Rift, The Old Republic combines a variety of gameplay elements to create a new game that puts a new twist on these classics.

Colored Expectations...

Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest is an on rails action game made by Zindagi Games, the team that made Sports Champions. Plenty of sword-swinging, shield-blocking, bow-shooting, throwing-star, uh, throwing, awaits. And while the story and presentation are charming enough, Deadmund's quest is held back by the inability to hop off those rails and the repetitive gameplay.
