Di-di-di. Digimon: Digital Monsters was a Saturday morning staple for me as a child. The entire first season of the show has made its long-awaited debut on DVD in the United States. Has the wait been worth it, or is this release (Digi)destined to be a dud? Let’s find out.

The first half of the second season of the hit Cartoon Network show is hitting store shelves on November 13. Scooby dooby doo, indeed!

After all these years, do they really still love being turtles? From Shout! Factory comes a DVD release of the first 13 episodes from this late '90s live action TMNT series that had a short lived run on FOX Kids. And although other adaptations throughout the years haven't been stellar, this set particularly lacks discipline.

To this day, I still want a Dragon Zord! From Shout! Factory and Saban Brands is an initial set of episodes from the first season of this ground breaking children's action show from the early/mid '90s. Although it's just DVDs, the quality of the disks is evident and is a decent start to a potentially "on going" collection.

BBC documentaries are known for their excellence, and their Story of Wales fits that bill precisely.

I'm an enormous fan of the British version (and only, as I refuse to believe the other exists) of Top Gear. When I heard that James May, one of the trios on Top Gear, was getting his own show called James May's 20th Century, I couldn't help but get excited. He is a smart and quiet man, and it's nice to see him on his own, especially in his element. Let's get to it.

Hot dogs, apple pie, and GI Joe -- doesn't get much more American than that you could say, on this 4th of July.

I remember watching this when it was syndicated on TBS. I loved the end scene with the animation for some stupid reason. Classic show, though. Here are the release details for the Ultimate Collection of the show on DVD.

Animation studio Madhouse and Marvel team up for a Japanese anime take on the X-Men, and it's pretty darn good.

The cast and crew of the Shin Chan dub is back for one last hurrah as the English dub of the series ends after this dvd set.
Season 3 Part 2 contains episodes 66-78 which is a decent run for the series though the Japanese version has considerably more episodes.

Season 3 of the Funimation Dub follows the random adventures of Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his family, friends, and the other random adults in his life. A rather dated show, the original Crayon Shin-chan dates back to 1992 in Japan and so Funimation took a similar route to the Geneon re-release of Lupin the Third by updating the series through the English voice cast and references to modern pop culture. While I enjoyed both the original Japanese and English versions of Lupin, I feel that something is missing in this ‘update’ of Shin-chan.
