The newest Dirt is focused on arcade racing, including plenty of destructive events that are a blast online or with friends.

F%^&, S#*^, A*#, B*+^%! This tactical, action first person shooter is the latest in the OF series from longtime publisher/developer Codemasters. And while most of this game definitely doesn't live up to the expectations of this subgenre in today's gaming climate, the online co-op experience actually affords a marginal amount of fun.

Codemasters has taken a good page from Bethesda Softworks; do what you do best and keep doing it. There is no doubt that Codemasters knows how to make racing games. They own the F1 market and they appear to have owned the Rally market for the last two versions. Could they keep the tradition of 'knowing what the hell they're doing with racing games' with the latest release of DiRT?Come find out.

The only thing missing from this game is the 'Stig' (Top Gear reference, in case you want to know).

Codemasters returns to its military sim franchise, Operation Flashpoint, with a new installment for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. This time around, gamers will be able to control their Marines on the small, oil rich, and hotly contested island of Skira. And while there's a lot to appreciate in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (OFDR), a general lack of polish leaves the overall experience feeling a little disappointing -- but still one that is worth a look.
