Fast-paced and furious are the best words to describe your typical multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). With games like League of Legends, it's tough to live without a keyboard and mouse in one of these types of games. With that said, is it possible for a console to have a MOBA game that could those on a PC? Oh, it's possible.

Medal of Honor has always been a game that I enjoyed playing. In 2010, I took great pride in giving the highest score to that Medal of Honor release, which I felt was unappreciated amongst the reviewer community. For whatever reason, a good game was released and most people let it slip by (I even felt like it beat out Black Ops that year). It had a fun single-player campaign and a still-to-this-day addictive multiplayer campaign that was quickly thrown together by the good folks at DICE. So, to say that I was excited about Medal of Honor: Warfighter would be a terrible understatement. It was a game I was looking forward to and one that I felt had enough time to get everything right. The question begs, did they get everything right? Come find out.

If you don't play this game with the D-pad, you are a n00b! From Activision and Robomodo comes a mash-up of classic Pro Skater 1 and 2 elements with a fresh new coat of high def paint. And although the level count is low in number, the addition of new gameplay modes and online make this well worth an all day pass to the park.

Anti-gravity, mini "death bots," and Dark Matter? Okay, sounds good. From 5th Cell comes an online "stop and pop" third person shooter built around fast, yet calculated gameplay and an over arching mark of global competition. This entry into Xbox LIVE's Summer of Arcade shows that strong core shooter principles can still be the centerpiece of an IP, and has enough appeal to be a great opening act for the big budget AAA shooters to come later in the year.
