RISE, RALLY, AND CONQUER AT RED BULL CONQUEST, NEW NATIONAL FIGHTING GAME TOURNAMENT CIRCUIT
New Esports Tournament Circuit Across 15 U.S. Cities and Online Lets Players Rise, Rally and Conquer in Street Fighter® V: Arcade Edition, TEKKEN 7 and Guilty Gear Xrd REV2

Santa Monica, CA – March 1, 2018 – Fighting game contenders from across the nation will soon battle for ultimate bragging rights at Red Bull Conquest, a brand new fighting game tournament circuit empowering competitors to represent their local fighting game scene and embark on the journey to: RISE.RALLY. CONQUER. Kicking off on April 28th in Chicago, the tournament circuit will travel to 15 qualifiers across the United States, with one additional online qualifier, to determine which region has the best players in Street Fighter® V: Arcade Edition, TEKKEN 7, and Guilty Gear Xrd REV2. Red Bull Conquest is the evolution of Red Bull Battle Grounds and Red Bull Proving Grounds tournament series, bringing together America’s top players to duke it out and represent their cities on the national stage. The circuit will culminate with the top regional champions facing off in a final showdown at the Red Bull Conquest National Finals in Washington, D.C. November 16-18, where one region will emerge victorious and claim victory as the best fighting game region in the nation. Red Bull Conquest will foster and encourage a sense of local pride that the fighting game community (FGC) was built on, empowering players nationwide to rise to the occasion and compete in prestigious tournaments with the goal of repping their city and winning it all at the national championship. The series’ local focus harkens back to the arcade days, when players came together on the weekends and developed a sense of community built on the spirit of competition and salty runbacks. A supporter of the FGC, Red Bull will continue to support organizations across the country, working closely with tournament organizers to grow and strengthen local scenes from the ground up in three steps: RISE, RALLY and CONQUER. Players can RISE UP by attending existing tournaments in their local community to scout out the competition and train in preparation for their region’s Red Bull Conquest Qualifier. Players will then RALLY TOGETHER to earn their spots and fight for their home turf at the official Red Bull Conquest Qualifying event. Finally, the winning competitors from each region will duke it out to determine who CONQUERS ALL at the Red Bull Conquest National Finals, where one region will emerge victorious and claim victory as the best fighting game region in the nation. Red Bull Conquest is supported by BenQ, SteelSeries, and Events DC. “Events DC is proud to partner with Red Bull to bring the Red Bull Conquest National Finals to the new Entertainment & Sports Arena (ESA) in our nation’s capital,” said Erik A. Moses, senior vice president and managing director, Events DC Sports, Entertainment and Special Events. “The venue is constructed with state-of-the-art infrastructure to be an ideal site for esports and we could not be more excited to have the National Finals as the first major esports event hosted at the ESA.”
Red Bull Conquest Qualifiers will take place in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle, concluding with the Red Bull Conquest National Finals taking place in Washington D.C. November 16-18. Red Bull will also be hosting a Red Bull Conquest online qualifier for competitors to join remotely.
